Kidiaro Terms of Use

Version: 0.1-beta Effective date: 4 November 2026

1. Who we are

Kidiaro is published by BTG LABS SRL, a company registered in Romania (CUI RO36057423, Trade Register no. J12/6312/2021), with its registered office at Colonia Sopor 11A, 400482 Cluj-Napoca, Cluj, Romania. Contact: [email protected]. These terms are published at https://kidiaro.app/terms.

2. What Kidiaro is

Kidiaro is a diary for your children's medicines, temperatures and symptoms. It helps you write things down, reminds you, lets you share the record with the other parent and gives you a clear report to show the doctor.

By using the app you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use it.

3. Personal, family use

Kidiaro is for parents and guardians, for their own family. You must be an adult who is legally responsible for the children you add. Please do not use the app for a business, for other people's children or for clinical work.

4. Not medical advice

Kidiaro is a diary. It does not give medical advice. It does not diagnose, treat or monitor any condition.

Kidiaro never suggests a dose, never calculates a dose and never tells you what to give. Every dose, time and limit in the app is something you typed. Check it against what your doctor or pharmacist told you and against the leaflet.

In an emergency, call your local emergency number. For any medical question, ask your doctor or pharmacist.

5. Reminders can fail

Reminders are made by your phone. They can be late or missing, for example when notifications are off, the battery saver is on, the phone is switched off, the time zone changes or the phone's settings block the app.

You stay responsible for giving medicines to your children and for checking the time. Do not rely on the app alone. Please keep to the plan your doctor or pharmacist gave you.

6. Your account and your data

You can use the free version without an account. An account is needed to share with the other parent, to restore your record on a new phone and to start a trial or buy a plan.

Keep your email and your phone secure. You are responsible for what happens on your account. Tell us at [email protected] if you think someone else has used it.

What we do with your data is described in the Privacy Policy at https://kidiaro.app/privacy. The information you enter remains yours.

You can delete your account at any time in the app (Settings > Account > Delete account), or by following https://kidiaro.app/delete-account.

7. Subscriptions

Some features need a paid plan. Plans are bought through the Apple App Store or Google Play. Subscription state is checked with the help of RevenueCat.

The store handles billing, renewals, cancellation and refunds under its own terms. To cancel, use your App Store or Google Play subscription settings. Deleting your Kidiaro account does not cancel a subscription in the store; please cancel it there.

If a trial or a plan ends, your records stay yours. The app tells you what still works, and you can export your child's data.

8. Using the app properly

Please do not:

We may suspend an account that does this. We will tell you why, where the law allows it.

9. Our work on the app

We work to keep Kidiaro running and correct. The app and the service are provided as they are. We may change or improve features, and we may stop a feature or the service; if we do, we will give you notice in good time and a way to export your data.

Our intellectual property rights in the app, its name and its design stay with us. You get a personal, non-transferable right to use the app for as long as these terms apply.

10. Liability

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for death or personal injury caused by our fault, for fraud or for intent.

Apart from that, and to the extent the law allows, we are not liable for harm that results from a missed or late reminder, from information you entered incorrectly, from a decision about a medicine taken without asking a doctor or pharmacist, or from your phone, network or the stores.

11. Changes to these terms

If we change these terms in a way that matters, we will show you the new version in the app and ask you to accept it before you continue. The date of the latest version is at the top.

12. Law and complaints

Romanian law applies. This does not take away the mandatory consumer rights you have in the country where you live.

If you have a problem, write to [email protected] first. We will try to solve it. You may also contact the consumer protection authority in your country, use the European Online Dispute Resolution platform, or go to the competent courts. Where the law allows, disputes with us are handled by the courts of Cluj-Napoca, Romania.
